- I’ve been to many different cultures and communities in my life.
- Most of the time, I have been able to fit in and be accepted.
- But sometimes, I have been the only non-white person in a group or community.
- This has made me feel like an outsider.
- My experiences have taught me that being the only non-white person in a group or community can be isolating.
- I have felt like an outsider, wondering if I will ever fit in.
- I have also felt like I have to say more to prove that I am not a threat, which has made me feel like I have to perform for my white peers.
- I have wanted to share my experiences with other non-white peers to let them know that they are not alone, and that they do matter.
- I have also felt like an outsider when I’ve been the only person my age in a group of elderly people.
- I have had to find ways to engage with people who have lived through different experiences than I have.
- I have learned that, when I can find common ground with people who have different backgrounds, experiences, and opinions than mine, I can build stronger relationships.
- This has helped me to better understand other people and has allowed me to better connect with them.

Answer:
The below-mentioned answer talks about an incident when I disagreed with a widely prevalent practice in my friend's culture, and about how it went.
Explanation:
- Being a fan of multiple cultures, and being fascinated by every bit of it, I’ve been to many different cultures and communities in my life.
- However, the social fear always existed within me, and I tried to fit and remain accepted.
- But, since I'm Indian, I've been the only Asian in a lot of social groups. For no fault of the other members, I have felt very lonely.
- I disagreed with a lot of practices in the White community, specifically no feeling of being a family, and over-independence.
- In my personal experience, this didn't go very well, since they got very offended, and were in majority. This affected me psychologically.
- I began feeling a lot more isolated and began overthinking whether I even belonged there.
- Though unnecessary, I felt the need to prove myself and my intentions.
