in triangles ABC and PQR

angle b = q ( both are 120°)

bc = qr ( both are 5 cm)

angle c = r ( both are 30°)

therefore triangle ABC is congruent to triangle PQR by ASA CONGRUENCY.

which implies AC=PR ( by cpct)
which means
(3X-1) = (X+5)
2X = 6
X = 3
therefore AC = 3X-1= 8
PR=X +5= 8
