MY OPINION:-

\impliesLying can be a crime, but only in some specific circumstances. If you are in court and you swear to tell the truth about something it is a crime to lie.

\impliesJust remember: Lies are most beneficial when they're not selfish. If you tell your partner he or she looks great before a date to boost his or her self-esteem, that's one thing.

In specefic situations yes it is punishable as a criminal offense to lie which is intentionally saying or printing information that the person knows to be wrong or false.

\pink:\impliesLying may be helpful when there is no ambiguity about the resulting benefits for those on the receiving end.

But in most other circumstances, honesty is the best policy.
