Answer:

it's simple.

Sol:

1] (7x - 2y) / xy = 5

(7/y) - (2/x) = 5 .......{converse of L.C.M}

(-2/x) + (7/x) = 5

(2/x) + (7/x) = -5 .......(a)

2] (x +7y) / xy = 15

(1/y) + (7/x) = 15 ....{converse of LCM}

(7/x) + (1/y) = 15 .......(b)

Now , replacing (1/x) by m and (1/y) by n.

applying in equation (a) and (b)

Therefore,

2m + 7n = -5 .....(c)

7m + n = 15 .......(d)

This is linear equation in Two variables.

u can solve......

Note: verify your question again, if there any mistakes in ur question.

(I have doubt in ur question.)

as there will be (2x + 7y) / xy = 15 instead of (x + 7y) / xy = 15

As coefficient is interchanged in both equation.

Thank U
