Answer:

Rainfall and temperature influence the vegetation to a great extent. In India, regions receiving rainfall over 200 cm with high temperatures have tropical evergreen type of vegetation commonly. Regions with average temperature of 24° C 27°C and rainfall ranging between 150 cm 200 cm have tropical deciduous forests. Regions with moderate rain of 50 cm have thorn and scrub type of vegetation.

Temperature and rainfall are important factors for vegetation.

  • Beyond that, the rise in temperature might only have a small impact on the development of vegetation. With an increase in precipitation, the vegetation also exhibits a positive shift in monthly NDVI, depending on the kind of forest and regional climate. However, a downward trend in vegetation growth was seen when there was an abundance of rainfall.
  • By providing shade and reducing air and surface temperatures through evapotranspiration, trees and other vegetation. For instance, the peak temperatures of materials that are not shaded may be 20–45°F (11–25°C) colder than those of shaded surfaces.
  • High temperatures and high humidity encourage evergreen forests, while high temperatures and low humidity support thorny bushes (desert). Comparatively speaking, locations with considerable rainfall have denser vegetation than those with light rainfall.
  • Water is one of the most crucial elements for plant growth. Seasonal plant growth happens in perfect synchrony with the wet season in many habitats, especially grasslands and crops. In these habitats, vegetation only sometimes or never grows when it is dry. A flash of green results from a lot of rain.
