Temperature can be measured in both Celsius scale (°C) and Fahrenheit scale (°F). The relation between both the scales is given by F=15(9C+160). If the freezing point of a liquid is −60°C, using the relation given above, find the freezing point of the same liquid in °F.

Answer:

F = 15(9C + 170)

Since C = -60°C

F = 15[9 x (-60) + 180]

F = 15[-540 + 180]

F = -5400 F
