By using the formula
n(n-1)/2 the answer will be
10(10 -1)/2
= (10^2 - 10)/2
= (100 -10)/2
= 90/2
= 45
n(n-1)/2 the answer will be
10(10 -1)/2
= (10^2 - 10)/2
= (100 -10)/2
= 90/2
= 45

I asked so because I have nearly forgot about this formula , because was not using it for a long time (this formula is simple )

because this formula is used for solving this type of problem while giving a competitive exams as there is a time limit this question can also be done by another method but it is too long
