let present age of p and q be x and y respectively.
ten years ago their ages were x-10 and y-10.
A.T.Q
Age of p= 1/2(age of q)
2(x-10) = y-10
2x-20 = y-10
2x-y = 10 :1 × 3
6x -3y = 30 :2
Now ,ratio of present age of p and q is 3:4
x/y=3/4
4x-3y= 0 : 3

eq 3-2
2x=30
x= 15
putting x= 15 in 1

y=20
present age of p is 15 and q is 20
