the ration can be sum of 3:4 is 1:2 is the present age which can be the total present age if we do some of thinking we can do the answer if sum can be exhaust able which we can calculate with the each other age of the number of p then the q age which is the number

soo we can calculate by the formulae which is easy of each of the answers
so by using the formula we got
P = is the half of Q means
p=3 and Q =4....

answers is p=15
and q =20

Let p age 10 years ago be x then q age was 2x

After 10 years.

P age = x+10
Q age = 2x +10

Since the ratio is 3:4
4(x+10)=3(2x+10)
4x+40=6x+30
40-30=6x-4x
10=2x
5 = x

So p present age = 5+10=15years

Q present age = 2*5+10= 20years
