Let the ages of father and son be 3x and x.

So, After Ten years,

= 3x + 10/x + 10 = 2/1

=1(3x + 10) = 2(x + 10)

= 3x + 10 = 2x + 20

= 3x - 2x = 20 - 10

= x = 10

So,the age of son will be = 10 years

Then, the age of father will be = 3x = 3 × 10
