Ten years ago, X was half of Y’s age. If the ratio of their present ages is 3:4, what will be the total of their present ages?

Let there ages be 3x and 4x respectively

According to Question:

10years ago X's age was half of Y's age

But it is asked to get the sum of their present age

the sum of their age is 3x+ 4x

=7x
