Answer:

Let the present age of Honey be x.

Ten years from now his age is x + 10(because after ten years his present age will added by 10. For example if his present age is 2 then his age after 10 years is 12

i.e., 2 + 10 = 12)________(1)

They given that after ten years his age is 6 times his present age

i.e., 6 × x_____________(2)

From (1) and (2) we get

x + 10 = 6x

10 = 6x - x

10 = 5x

x =  \frac{10}{5}  \\  \boxed{x = 2}

 \therefore \: Honey's \: present \: age \: is \: 2 \: years.

Answer

x = 2

Step-by-step explanation:

Let Honey's present age be x.
After 10 yrs Honey's age = 6x
= 10 + x = 6x
= +x to RHS
= 10 = 6x - x
= 10 = 5x
= x = 10/5
= 2
