{\huge{\underline{\underline{\rm{SolutiOn:}}}}}

Let x and y be the present age of father and son respectively.

Then According to the given conditions ,we have

x - 10 = 12(y - 10)

➪ x -12y +110 = 0.............(1)

Also,

x + 10 = 2(y + 10)

➪ x - 2y - 10 = 0.............(2)

{\bf{\red{Subtracting\:(2)\:from\:(1),we\:get}}}

-10y + 120 = 0

➪-10y = -120

➪y = 12

{\bf{\blue{Putting\:this\:value\:of \:y\:in\:(1), we\:get}}}

{\huge{\boxed{ x = 34}}}

{\bf{\green{Hence,\:the\: present\:age\:of\:his\:father\:is\:34years\:and\: present\:age\:of\:son\:is\:12years}}}
