Tenali Ramakrishna is famous for so many stories which are funny and interesting. One of the stories is Tenali Raman and the Cursed Man: Once upon a time, there lived a simple man Ramaya. People in the kingdom of King Krishnadevaraya believes that Ramaya is a cursed man.
Whoever in the morning sees his face won’t get anything to eat for the rest of the day. After hearing this, King Krishnadevaraya called Ramaya and asked him to stay in his palace to verify this rumor. One morning King went direct to Ramaya’s room to see his face after waking up in the morning.
Then that afternoon when he sat to eat his lunch, he couldn’t eat because due to flies in his food. He ordered again to make the food for him but till then he won't feel like eating afterward. He suspected that the people’s superstition is right and he ordered his soldiers to kill Ramaya.
When Tenali Raman heard this he told something in the Ramaya’s ear. Ramaya passed a note to the king in his last wish. In the note, it was written that Ramaya has seen the King’s face and he got the punishment to die then who is the more cursed man. The king understood the matter and he released Ramaya.
