Tendrils encircles around an object because of the presence of a plant hormon called AUXIN(helps in growth), which is produced at the tip of apical meristem.

When the plant's tendril touches a support the auxins diffuse to the other side without contact with the support. This result in the growth of that side . This growth help the tendrils to curl around the support.

HOPES IT HELPS.
