Simply , Tense = Time
There are 3 types of tenses.
1.Present
2.Past
3.Future Tenses

Further , Each of them are divided into four parts...
1.Simple or Indefinite
2.Continuous
3.Perfect
4.Perfect Continuous ..

Each of them have special structure to form sentences ..
