Let 'x' be a common factor of both numbers .

So the numbers are 5x and 3x

According to question

5x - 3x = 18

2x = 18

x = 18/2

x = 9

Therefore

5x = 5 × 9 = 45

3x = 3 × 9 = 27

So the numbers are 45 and 27 !!!!
