Hey There! A good question I would like to answer!

Terracing
is a process of farming. It is mainly practiced in mountainous regions. This is done to prevent water from running down the hills. When water runs down, it results in soil erosion. In this method, the hill slopes are made into step like structures with slows down the running water & prevent soil erosion.
