Tundra, Taiga, temperate deciduous forest, tropical rain forest, grassland, desert are the seven biomes or terrestrial ecosystem. Terrestrial ecosystem can be differentiated from the aquatic ecosystem for the lower availability of water but also the importance of water on the other hand.  

Terrestrial ecosystem are the good source of food for the human beings because of the presence of verity of plants, animals and encouraging climate conditions.

Terrestrial ecosystem is an integrated functioning unit where every living organism depends on one another for food.  

Raw materials from plants, animals, and other abiotic compounds can be found in large numbers that can be utilized by humans in many ways.
