tertiary butyl chloride is optically active or not​

No....bcoz for a molecule to be optically active,it should contain chiral carbon...i.e.,carbon atom should be surrounded by different groups.... In tertiary butyl chloride,carbon atom is surrounded by 3 -ch3 and 1 -cl....hence it is not optically active
