No I don't agree to your statement that "Tertiary sector is not playing any significant role in the development of India Economy”.Tertiary sector is the main sector of the Indian Economy. This is due to the following

reasons:-

1)Tertiary sector generate many services and job opportunities all round the world.

2)It also contributes largest towards the requirement of GDP (GROSS DOMESTIC PRODUCE).

3)The primary and secondary sector, both of them depends largely on Tertiary sector.

4)Tertiary sector do not produce goods but supports in the process of production.

5)As Tertiary sector do not produce goods but mostly services,it is also known as SERVICE SECTOR.

Answer:

This statement is certainly correct as we know Tertiary sector which is not only linked with agri. and industrial sector and transport the finished products to consumers but it also provide various services to public. All this which we see as Hospitals , Schools , Banking etc. comes under the tertiary sector which is certainly important for the development of a Country. However most of people are engaged in agriculture though tertiary sector has most economic development
