Khadar5252: take a wide mouthed bottle put a split cork which fits in put potassium hydroxide solution it absorbs carbon dioxide take a potted plant destarhed leaf and insert it tobthe bottle containing potassium hydroxide solution leave the plant in sunlight
Khadar5252: after few hours test this leafand any other leaf of this plant the leaf which was exposed to the atmospheric air & light becomes bluish blackand which is inside absorbs Carbon dioxide in the bottle remains colourless this proves that carbon dioxide is necessary for photosynthesis

take the leaf and boil it in methylated spirit and take it in a petridish and add iodine it turn to blue colour thus starch is persent in the leaf
