189=1+8+9=18 divisible by 3.

See i will tell u how to test divisibility, it will help u;

take a example;

(iv) 524781

count the sum of all the digits of the given no. i.e, 27.

u know that 27 is divisible by 3 and hence the no. is also divisible by 3.

now, take another example;

(v) 79124

after counting the digits it will come out to be 23.

the no. is not divisible by 3 and hence 3 cannot divide 79124.
