1 + √0.01 / 1 - √0.01 = 1

if the following is rationalised then it is

1.01+2√0.01

0.99

Step-by-step explanation:

1 + √0.01 ÷ 1 - √0.01

= 1 - 1 ( √0.01 and (-√0.01) can be divided as [(-√0.01) × (-1))

= 1-1 = 0

IF IT IS RATIONALISED:

1+0.01 × 1+0.01

1-√0.01 × 1+√0.01

(a+b)² = +2ab+

(a+b)(a-b) = -b²

= (1)²+2(1)(0.01)+(0.01)²

(1)² - (√0.01)²

= 1+2√0.01+0.01

1 - 0.01

= 1.01+20.01

0.99
