Hey friend,

1 \sqrt{2}  \times 2 +  \sqrt{2}  \\  \\  = 1 \times 2 \sqrt{2}  +  \sqrt{2}  \\  \\  = 2 \sqrt{2}  + 1 \sqrt{2}  \\  \\  = 2 + 1 \sqrt{2}  \\  \\  = 3 \sqrt{2}
