Yes, that is true. The answer is six.

12 - 5 - 5 + 4 * 2 / 2

First we multiply.

4 * 2 = 8

12 - 5 - 5 + 8 / 2

Then we divide.

8 / 2 = 4

12 - 5 - 5 + 4

Then we do plus and minus

12 - 5 = 7

7 - 5 + 4

7 - 5 = 2

2 + 4 = 6

tejasgupta: no man, first we divide.......
ItzTacoTimee: It doesn’t really matter. You have to do it in order of appearance. This is how we learn it here in the Netherlands, the answer always comes out the same.
ItzTacoTimee: For example: 8 / 2 * 7. We divide first, then multily. If it was 2 * 7 / 2 we multiply first then divide.
tejasgupta: Oh. Thanks.........here in India, we do it like this what i have done

12 - 5 - 5 + 4 * 2 / 2

According to BODMAS........

Division first....

12 - 5 - 5 + 4 * 1

.......because 2/2 = 1.........

Now, multiplication....

12 - 5 - 5 + 4

.....because 4 * 1 = 4...............

16 - 10 = 6

..6 is the answer...........
