1684-324+ sqrt[x] = 1376
1360 + sqrt x = 1376
sqrt x = 16
x= 16^2
x= 256

here is your solution

1684 - 18 {}^{2} + \sqrt{x} = 1376 \\ 1684 - 324 + \sqrt{x} = 1376 \\ 1360 + \sqrt{x} = 1376 \\ \sqrt{x} = 1376 - 1360 \\ \sqrt{x} = 16 \\
boh \: side \: squaring \\ ( \sqrt{x} {})^{2} =( 16) {}^{2} \\ \\ x = 256
hope it helps you
