  • 50 green marbles are there in the bag.

SOLUTION:−

Total number of marbles = 60 (given)

Ratio of blue marbles : green marbles = 1 : 5

Step 1 : Solve x

Let x be constant ratio

1x + 5x = 60

6x = 60

x = 60/6

x = 10

Step 2 : Find the number of green marbles

Green marbles = 5x = 5(10) = 50
