2p - 7q = 13 ( .1)
2p - 3q = 1 (2)
after subtracting both equestion
we obtain
that
-4q= 12
q= 12/-4
= -3
Substituting this value in (2)
2p-3(-3)=1
2p+9=1
2p = 1-9
2p= -8
p = -4
