Answer:

2x ^{2}  + 7x + 3 \\  \\  = 2 x^{2}  + (6 + 1)x + 3 \\  \\  = 2x ^{2}  + 6x + x + 3 \\  \\  = 2x(x + 3) + 1(x + 3) \\  \\  = (2x + 1)(x + 3) \\  \\ either \: 2x + 1 = 0 \\  \\  =  > x =  \frac{ - 1}{2}  \\  \\ or \: x + 3 = 0 \\  \\  =  > x =  - 3

Answer:

2x²+7x+3=0

2x²+(6+1)x+3=0

2x²+6x+x+3=0

2x(x+3)+1(x+3)=0

(x+3)(2x+1)=0

Either, or,

x+3=0 2x+1=0

x= -3 2x= -1

x= -1/2
