2x-3y=9______(1)

2x+y=13______(2)

Multiplying 3 in eq(2)

3×2x+y=13

= 6x+3y=39_____(3)

Subtracting eq (1) &(2)

6x+3y=39

2x-3y=9

8x=48

x= 48

8

x=6

Substuting the value of x in eq(1)

2×6-3y=9

12-3y=9

3y=12+9

3y=21

y=7

Step-by-step explanation:

2x-3y= 9.2x+y=13

saperating eqns

2x-3y= 13...........(1)

9.2x+y= 13..........(2)

3×(2) + (1)

29.6x= 52

=> x= 52/29.6= 1.756 aprox

from eqn (1)

1.756×2-3y=13

=> -3y= 13- 3.512= 9.488

=> y= 9.488/-3 = 3.162 aprox
