3 - 12 ( a^2 + b^2 - 2ab)

3 - 12a^2 - 12b^2 + 24ab

Given Equation is 3 - 12(a - b)^2.

We know that (a-b)^2 = a^2 + b^2 - 2ab.

Then 3 - 12(a - b)^2

         = 3 - 12(a^2 + b^2 - 2ab)

         = 3 - (12a^2 + 12b^2 - 24ab)

         = 3 - 12a^2 - 12b^2 + 24ab

         = -3(1 + 2a - 2b)(2a - 2b - 1).
