3 \div x + 8 = 4 \div 6 - x \\ \\   \frac{3}{x + 8}  =  \frac{4}{6 - x}  \\ 3(6 - x) = 4(x + 8) \\ 18 - 3x = 4x + 32 \\ 7x = 18 - 32 \\   x =  \frac{ - 14}{2} \\ x  =  - 2
