Answer:

x = 2/√3

Step-by-step explanation:

3x² - 4√3x + 4 = 0

We use the formula :-

x = [-b ± √(b²-4ac)] ÷ 2a

If we get b² - 4ac > 0, we will have real roots

If we get b² - 4ac = 0, we have repeated roots

If we get b² - 4ac < 0, we have imaginary roots

So here, a = 3, b = -4√3 and c = 4

b² - 4ac = (-4√3)² - 4 x 3 x 4

             = 48 - 48

             = 0

So we have repeated roots -

x = [ -(-4√3) ±√0] / 2(3)

  = 4√3 ÷ 6

  = 2√3 ÷ 3

x = 2/√3

Hope this helps! :)
