GIVEN :

  • \bf{3(x + 3) - 2(x - 1) = 5(x - 5)}

TO FIND :

  • The value of x.

SOLUTION :

 \implies \sf{3(x + 3) - 2(x - 1) = 5(x - 5)}  \\  \\

\implies  \sf{3x + 9 - 2x + 2 = 5x - 25}  \\  \\

 \implies \sf{ x +  11 = 5x - 25}  \\  \\

  • Transposing 25 to left side and x to right side :

  \implies\sf{  11 + 25 = 5x - x}  \\  \\

 \implies \sf{36 = 4x} \\  \\

  • Dividing both sides by 4 :

 \implies \sf{  \cancel{\dfrac{36}{4} } = x} \\  \\

  • After dividing both sides by 4 :

\implies \sf{ 9= x} \\  \\

 \implies \underline{ \huge{ \boxed  {\pink {\bf{ x = 9}}}}}

\huge{\red {\therefore }} The value of x is 9.

Given : \longmapsto \bf3(x + 3) - 2(x - 1) = 5(x - 5)

Need To Solve : The Value of x .

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━⠀

\qquad \dag\:\:\bigg\lgroup \sf{3(x + 3) - 2(x - 1) = 5(x - 5)  }\bigg\rgroup \\\\

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀\underline {\boldsymbol{\star\:Now \: By \: Solving \:for\: the  \: Value\:of\:x \::}}\\

\qquad \longmapsto \sf3(x + 3) - 2(x - 1) = 5(x - 5)

\qquad \longmapsto \sf3x + 9 - 2(x - 1) = 5(x - 5)

\qquad \longmapsto \sf3x + 9 - 2x + 2 = 5(x - 5)

\qquad \longmapsto \sf3x + 9 - 2x + 2 = 5x - 25

\qquad \longmapsto \sf3x - 2x + 9  + 2 = 5x - 25

\qquad \longmapsto \sf x + 9  + 2 = 5x - 25

\qquad \longmapsto \sf x+ 11 = 5x - 25

\qquad \longmapsto \sf 11 + 25  = 5x - x

\qquad \longmapsto \sf 4x =36

\qquad \longmapsto \sf x =\cancel {\dfrac{36}{4}}

\qquad \longmapsto \frak{\underline{\purple{\:x = 9 }} }\bigstar \\

Therefore,

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀\therefore {\underline{ \mathrm {\:The\:Value \:of\:x \:is\:\bf{9}}}}\\
