 {3}^{x}  =  {5}^{x - 2}

 \\ Apply \: log \: on \: both \: sides \:

 \\ log \:  {3}^{x}  =  log \:  {5}^{x - 2}

 \\  =  > x \: log  \:  3 = (x - 2) \: log \: 5

 =  > x \: log \: 3 = x  \: log \: 5 - 2 \: log \: 5

 =  > 2 \: log \: 5 = x \: log(5 - 3)

 =  > 2 \: log \: 5 = x \: log \: 2

 =  >  \frac{2 \: log \: 5}{ {}^{log}2  }  = x

  =  >  \frac{log \:  {5}^{2} }{ {}^{log} 2}  = x

 =  >  \frac{log \: 25}{ {}^{log} 2}

I hope this will help you dear..
