We know:

 {x}^{2}  -  {y}^{2}  = (x + y)(x - y)

Therefore, the given equation becomes:

(3x + 2y + 3x - 2y)(3x + 2y - 3x + 2y)

 = 6x \times 2y

 = 12xy
