Heya..,

Your amswer is here..,

3x - 4y = -7....(1)

5x - 2y = 0.....(2)×2

3x - 4y = -7

10x - 4y = 0

-. +. -

-7x. = -7

x = 1

put x = 1 in equation...(1)

3x - 4y = -7

3×1 - 4y = -7

3 -4y = -7

-4y = -7 -3

-4y = -10

y = 10/4

y = 5/2

solution of (x,y) = (1,5/2)

hope its will helpful to you...

Solve 3x - 4y = - 7 and 5x - 2y = 0

3x - 4y = - 7 ...... (i)

5x - 2y = 0 ........ (ii)

By using Elimination method:

In this method, we've to eliminate one term so that, we'll get other variables value.

Multiplying equation 2 by 2,

2(5x - 2y = 0)

10x - 4y = 0  ....... (iii)

Subtracting equation (i) from (iii),

10x - 4y = - 0

3x   - 4y = - 7

(-)    (+)    (+)

_____________

7x   + 0  = 7

x =  \frac{7}{7}

 \boxed{\bold{x = 1}}

Substituting x = 1 in equation (i),

3x - 4y = - 7

3(1) - 4y = - 7

3 - 4y = - 7

- 4y = - 7 - 3

- 4y = - 10

 \cancel{-} 4y = \cancel{-} 10

4y = 10

y =  \frac{10}{4}

y =  \frac{\cancel{10}}{\cancel{4}}

 \boxed{\bold{y = \frac{5}{2}}}

Therefore, x = 1 and y =   \frac{5}{2} are the solutions for the given equations.
