4^{3x-5}=2^x\\2^{2(3x-5)}=2^x\\2^{6x-10}=2^x

We know that if base is same then power can be equated.

6x-10=x\\6x-x=10\\5x=10\\x=2

Answer:

x = 2

Step-by-step explanation:

 {4}^{3x - 5}  =  {2}^{x}  \\  =  > ( {2}^{2} ) ^{3x - 5}  =  {2}^{x}  \\  =  >  {2}^{6x - 10}  =  {2}^{x}  \\As  \: the \:  bases \:  are  \: equal , powers  \: will  \: be  \: also \:  equal  \\  =  > 6x - 10 = x \\  =  > 6x - x = 10 \\  =  > 5x = 10 \\  =  > x =  \frac{10}{5}  \\  =  > x = 2
