2x+2y=10-----(2)

multiplying "2"on both sides with(2) we get

4x+4y=20---(3)

sub(3) from(1) we get

4x+4y-4x+3y=20-8

7y=12

therefore,y=12/7

and x=23/7(from eq(2))
