We know :

sin 30° = \dfrac{1}{2}

tan 45° = 1

By putting the value in the equation , we can find the answer:

Solution:

5sin30° + 3tan45°

\Rightarrow 5 × \bigg(\dfrac{1}{2}\bigg) + 3 × (1)

\Rightarrow \bigg(\dfrac{5}{2}\bigg) + (3)

\Rightarrow \dfrac{5}{2} + 3

➜Lcm of denominators: 2

\Rightarrow \dfrac{5 + 6}{2}

\Rightarrow \dfrac{11}{2}

\therefore \dfrac{11}{2}
