Heya!!

7x - 15y = 2 ..... equation ( i )

x + 2y = 3 ..... equation ( ii )

=>

7x - 15y = 2

7x + 14y = 21

- - -
____________

-y = -19/29

y = 19/29 And x = 49/29

7x - 15y = 2 - eq^n 1

x + 2y = 3 - eq^n 2

Multiply equation 2 with 7

7x + 14y = 21 -eq^n 3

Now, equation 1 - equation 3

-29y = -19

y = 19/29

Now, x = 3 - 2y (from equation 2)

= 3 - 2 (19/29)

= 3 - 1.31

= 1.69
