Length of rectangle = a cm

breadth = (a+1) cm

Area of rectangle = L*B

given Area = (a-1) cm²

so,

A/q, now ,

(a-1) = (a)*((a+1)

(a-1) = a(a+1)

(a-1) = (+a)

squaring both sides now , we get,

(a-1)² = +a

-2a+1 = +a

1 = 3a

a = 1/3 (Ans)
