We have,

 \quad {a}^{2}  - (b - 5)a - 5b \\  \\  =  {a}^{2}  - ab + 5a - 5b \\  \\  = a(a - b) + 5(a - b) \\  \\  = (a - b)(a + 5)

(a+b)(a-5)

The simple form of the above is (a+b)(a-5)
