ANSWER

 =  {a - b}^{2}  + (a - b) \\  = take \: as \: much \: common \: as \: you \: can \\  = (a - b) + (a - b + 1)

EXPLANATION :

As we have taken common( a - b )

In first expression,

SO, in (a-b)^2 only (a - b) is left

In second expression

And in (a - b) after taking common nothing is left so we put their 1.

So, the required answer is

(a-b)(a-b+1)
