Answer:

sin Q= 7/(√85) , cos Q=6/(√85)

Step-by-step explanation:

In Δ OPQ

OP = 7 cm and OP-PQ = 1 cm

∴ PQ = 6 cm

Now by using Pythagoras therom that is ,

OP²+PQ²=OQ²

⇒ OQ² = 85

∴ OQ = √85

Also we have to find sin Q and cos Q

∵ sin Q= OP/OQ

∴cos Q = PQ/OQ

sin Q = 7/√85

⇒ cos Q = 6/√85

Answer:

let

OQ= x cm then

PQ = 1+x

by Pythagoras theorem we get

on solving it we get value of x which is

x= 24

so PQ = 24

OQ = 25

as we know all 3 sides we can calculate sin Q and cos Q which are

sin Q = (7/25)

cos Q = (24/25)
