  • The vein is the blood vessel which carries the deoxygenated blood from different parts of the body back to heart . The veins carry the blood towards the heart which consists of the waste material . As compared to arteries the veins are thin walled .
  • The capillary are the vessels which carry the blood away from the heart . The major function of the capillary is to exchange nutrients , waste and oxygen with the tissues . The capillaries are thesmallest blood vessels.
