Remember this : Another formula for finding area of sector = (length of arc × radius)/2

substituting values we get

(3.5 × 5)/2

=17.5/2

= 8.75cm²

Given-The arc length (l) of a sector = 3.5 cm

The radius(r) of the sector =5 cm To find out: area of sector

Solution-

The area of a sector, of arc length =

l and radius = r is  \frac{r \times l}{2}

Area of sector =  \frac{5 \times 3.5}{2}  = 8.75  cm {}^{2}

Hope it will helps
