let the acceleration at the other planet be g'

g is the acceleration due to gravity on Earth

g = GM/R²

g' = G×M/2÷(R/2)²

= GM/2×4/R²

=2GM/R

it will be twice to that of earth

g=GM/r²

m=0.5M

R=O.5r

R²=O.25r

so g=2g(EARTH)
