\large\underline{\sf{Solution-}}

Given that, A table marked at Rs. 15,000 is available for Rs. 14,400.

It means,

  • Marked Price of table = Rs 15, 000

  • Selling Price of table = Rs 14, 400

We know,

\red{\rm Marked\: Price,\: Selling\:Price\:and \:Discount} are connected by the relationship

\boxed{ \rm{ \:Discount \:  =  \: Marked \: Price \:  -  \: Selling \: Price \: }} \\

So, on substituting the values, we get

\rm \: Discount \:  =  \: 15000 - 14400 \\

\bf\implies \:Discount \:  =  \: Rs \: 600 \\

Now, we know that,

Discount, Marked Price and Discount % are connected by the relationship

\boxed{ \rm{ \:Discount \: \% \:  =  \: \dfrac{Discount}{Marked \: Price} \times 100\% \: }} \\

So, on substituting the values, we get

\rm \: Discount\% \:  =  \: \dfrac{600}{15000} \times 100 \: \% \\

\rm \: Discount\% \:  =  \: \dfrac{600}{150} \: \% \\

\bf\implies \:\boxed{ \bf{ \:Discount \: \% \:  =  \: 4 \: \% \: }} \\

Hence,

\begin{gathered}\begin{gathered}\bf\: \begin{cases} &\bf{Discount \:  =  \: Rs \: 600} \\ \\  &\bf{Discount \: \% \:  =  \: 4 \: \%} \end{cases}\end{gathered}\end{gathered}
